Cooking hard-boiled eggs is in the oven

Are you daring enough to try this with a couple of eggs?

Alton Brown recommends this method, and it allows you to cook a lot of eggs at once in a more ‘gentle’ fashion rather than using turbulent boiling water.

Alton recommends placing the eggs on the oven rack itself. (with aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven just in case something breaks)

325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Dunk them in cold water upon completion to stop the cooking.

Now see this useful video on shelling the egg without having to peel it!
