Beans on Toast

Simple breakfast or snack: Vegetarian baked beans, butter, toast, S&P, (optional Mustard, and Hot Sauce). Heat up the beans while you make the toast. Add a little water to the bean pot to produce more "gravy" AND drop in a pat of butter--trust me, it's all about the butter in these beans. Next, butter the toast, then top with the beans in tomato sauce, add salt & pepper. Easy peasey. I add a little bit of horseradish mustard, and a few drops of hot sauce all around, because this English classic tends to be a bit bland. But put it all together and it's quite a satisfying nosh!
